I've heard a couple of different scenarios about this acquisition. I would
think that if this thing with Billups doesn't work out the Celts might make
a run at him along with all the other teams in the league. With the signing
of Garnett it leaves Joe Smith and Stoudamire as the prize FA's this coming
summer. Smith believes that Garnett has set the market price. Don't look for
Golden State to pay it. So he will definetly be out there to be had.
Stoudamire on the other hand feels an allegiance to his GM. Now that the
deal for ownership has fallen apart for Isiah he may be lured away from
toronto. If he goes I don't think that Damon will look to re-sign with the
Raptors.
