Excuse me, but a style that BARELY worked at Kentucky? 3 NCAA Final
Four appearnced, including 2 NCAA Championship games, and one NCAA
Championship? Not to mention UK made it to the NCAA tournyment ever
year after the ban lifted. He only coached what was possibly the
greatest game ever in college basketball vs Duke, and had they beat
Duke in that game its likely they would have won it all. BTW, that
game was for the right to go to the Final Four. Face it,
your wrong, Pitino is one of the great college coaches, and
has already proved he can get the job done at the Pro level
in NJ. Personaly, I belive Pitino is frustrated with Billups because
he sees the potenal Billups has, while Billups does seem to be giving
100% effort to the new system (at least in Pitino's mind). Its realy
the same sort of situation that Pitino had with Rhodes, and remember,
Pitino gave Rhodes 2 seasons to get his act straight before making
him look elsewhere to play. Even though Pitino was willing to put up
with Rhodes for two years, don't expect Pitino to wait that long with
Billups, if Billups is truely holding back for whatever reason.
Sydrian.
A Wildcat fan that just couldnt keep his mouth shut :)
I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil.
I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up
with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
