As far as the Chauncey speculation goes, we all need to take everything we
read with a grain of salt.  We have no idea what's going on in Pitino's head. 
All of those alleged trade rumors were probably the other way around.  In
other words upon hearing that Pitino may be unhappy with Chauncey, Denver
offered Bobby Jackson for him.  It has to be that way because why in the world
would Denver turn that deal down.  Billups is incredibley popular out there.

Why would so many teams leak false rumors that make Pitino look
desperate/impatient you ask?  Maybe there are a lot of people in the NBA that
are jealous of his $50M contract.  Or they may be upset that they had been
trying him for years and never took any team seriously until the Celtics
offer.

Chauncey isn't going anywhere unless the deal makes sense for us.  My guess as
to who wanted to go to Vancouver with Massenburg is Greg Minor.
