Another way of looking at things

The Bulls, Knicks & Heat may very well be the 3 prime contenders to represent
this side of the NBA finals. Orlando features a true superstar and a new
coach who may turn around the team's underachieving past. None of these teams
experienced a major overhaul this year. Anyone of them would destroy a
college all-star team which was given a month to prepare.

Right now we ARE a college all-star team.  Walker, Mercer, Billups, McCarty,
Jones, Thomas, Knight, DeClerq, Rogers & Edney(tho yet to play) - how much
NBA experience do these guys have?

The other side of the coin is the lack of contributions from Brown, Barros,
Ellison, and Minor (when activated).

For those who point to Bowen as one who as advanced more rapidly, he has
played in both the CBA and Europe and is 26 yrs old. Yes, he is a pleasant
surprise and a bargain to boot.

Things will get much better - even without changes - but this team needs a
lot of time to grow up and develop chemistry.
