Gene, I am glad to know that you are a Roy Rogers fan.  Roy is one of the
nicest guys you will ever meet.  The University of Alabama did not become
interested in Roy until Southern Cal started recruiting him.  The
Southern Cal recruiter came to a game where Roy blocked 20 shots, grabbed
20 rebounds, and scored like 20 some points.  George Raveling was on the
plane the next day to visit Roy.  However, Roy is a country boy and did
not want to leave home and decided upon Alabama.
  I can not wait to see Travis and Roy on defense together blocking
shots.  If you get past Travis, I can guarantee you that Roy is going to
block or change the shot. During  the basketball games the student
section at Alabama had an area called Mr. Rogers Neighborhood and posted
the number of block shots that Roy Rogers had.  Stu Jackson must have
owed Pitino a favor, as well as the Knicks because I can not visualize
why they gave us these young studs.
